imagePROGRAF TM-300 is throwing an error during its power up cycle. EC06-2F9C (4801)

Printer was working a few months ago but has been off during summer break. Now during power up, the print head moves several inches out from the right edge, and then back again, and an error is immediately displayed on the screen EC06-2F9C (4801).

Hi MHi,

Try turning the printer off and unplugging the power cord for 10 minutes. While the power cord is unplugged, if paper is loaded, remove the paper from inside the printer. If EC06-2F9C is still displayed, the printer will require service.
