imagePROGRAF PRO-2600 Uneven margin issue

I've Canon Pro 2600 printer and I've been struggling with its margin issues on cut sheets. The problem in essence is that the print is not centered even though it appears centered in photoshop with no problems. For example, I'm trying to print an 8x10 image on an 8.5x11 (US Letter) paper. The image is cropped and sized to be 8x10. In theory I want to have horizontal margin of 0.5" on each side and 0.25" vertical margin on each side. I've done this hundreds of times on my Epson SureColor P600. You can see from the first image that it has extra margin on the right side (similar to how it looks on Photoshop print layout). I also tried the Canon Layout program without succ. It actually prevents me from printing saying that portion of the image won't be printed (see last image).

I am having the same problem.  I am surprised there is no clear answer from Canon and so far as I can see the product manuals do not provide an answer.  I believe the reason is that the Pro-2600, and the other roll printers, do not have the needed media handing to allow printing the end of the sheet.  The minimum allowed margin on the trailing edge is 0.79".  That is one of the problems using roll fed printers with cut sheets.  I am disappointed in the ability to make prints with the Pro-2600 using sheet media.  I wish Canon documentation and specs were more clear.  I hope someone will correct me and explain how to get the printer to have smaller margins on the trailing edge of sheets.
