imagePROGRAF PRO-2100: Printing goes wild, only prints part of the 24" x 44" image

Hello to all

I work on Pro2100 and recently upgradedimage002.jpg to Mac mini M4Pro. Downloaded drivers and supporting software, and everything works just fine with smaller prints. However, problems start with bigger prints...
This one was supposed to be 24x44, but problems start always at the same spot, please see the attached image.
I tried uninstalling then installing printer and drivers, print head cleaning and alignment, feed adjustment... not sure did I make any mistakes, but I tried to print smaller things (24x10) and it works just fine, but the problem persists with the big print.

Did anyone else got into the similar trouble and would could be a remedy for this?

Thank you all for your time!

Air Print is a very stripped down driver. The full driver is an IJ. Best to ensure you have the full driver installed, then delete the Air Print driver. On a Mac, when adding a printer, it may take a few minutes for the full driver to appear in the selection list. Not sure why this is, and it causes many a lot of trouble.

Initial thoughts:

  1. Be sure you did not inadvertently install the dreaded Air Print driver.
  2. Are you connecting via wi-fi? I'm told one must allow all the data to load on the printer before initiating the print job.
  3. Try ethernet connection. This is how I connect and have never experienced what you are showing.

Good luck!

Thank you for the answer.
I hope they did not pack in Air Print driver in the instal folder with other drivers for 2100. I am using 2100 for about 5 years now for mid-size jobs via WiFi (only a few hundreds of prints, mostly art reproductions and photography), and did not encounter this problem. Direct Ethernet connection is unfortunately impossible at this time. However, once I am done with editing the image and printing options and select "Print", printer would start automatically once it saves a job on its local HDD.

After careful consideration (no brandy or cognac involved...) I decided to nuke my Mac with a factory reset. Since it is used only for art and printing, and I store everything on the OB SSDs, reconstruction did not last too long and voila - the big print was done without any problem.
However... while configuring everything, I noticed one "small" detail that made me confused and I started thinking maybe that is the source of my troubles, thank to the comments from rsilber: Air Play driver presence is confirmed. Of course, I downloaded all of the software from Canon website (8 downloads altogether), nothing suspicious... it must be the part of the driver package now.

I have two questions: 1. why is Air Play driver so dreaded, 2. how to replace it and with what?
