Imagerunner C3530i scan to email error

Our copier has scanned to several company email addresses for years. Out of the blue, it scans, this error pos up SMTP Server Authentication Error and then it prints a page with an error message. An ideas how to fix? I have spent 3 hours researching and looking through all of the copier settings. It is also 'offline'. Is that the problem?

While our Forum Community members are welcome to chime in, Canon does not provide direct support for imageRUNNER series products, but your dealer will be able to help you!

If you don't have a dealer, please call us at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666) and we will be happy to provide you with the names of dealers who are in your area!

We have called Canon in the past. The robot answering calls does not recognize our machine model verbally. It is a continues loop of a robot asking the same questions. We have tried with 3 employees, all speaking english.

If you're saying your machine doesn't have a sticker somewhere on it for whom to contact for support, I can help! What's your city & state?

I have called 800-385-2155. We are in Plano, TX.
