Hi everyone,
I have configured a MF8500C Series printer to use the scanner to send a document to a Microsoft 365 email account, however, I get error 753.
I have configured the email account with the following information:
SMT server : outlook.office365.com
Port : 587
SSL : ON
The printer is in Panama and I am in Canada and I can access it remotely so I don't think it could be a network failure as the error code says, I have tried rebooting the machine, changing the ethernet cable, verify that the email account and its configuration works in OE classic. No restriction policy in the firewall or any kind of port blocking.

Thanks for joining the conversation, JavierA!
So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which Canon printer model you're using within the MF8500C series. The model number should be at the far left end of the printer's operation panel. That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!
If this is a time-sensitive matter, click HERE search our knowledge base or find additional support options HERE.
Thanks and have a great day!
