Greetings,

Thank you, it's crystal clear now 😉

Here's what I suggest you to do.  Login to the router at each site and assign or reserve a static IP for each device.  Remove the printer from you computer.  You shouldn't need to uninstall the software, just remove the device.  Restart your system.

At site one, re-add the printer as an IP printer.  Do the same for site two.  You'll now have two instances of the printer installed.  You can right click on them and give them friendly names in the printer properties.  Like MF465dw office1.... And office2.  Something meaningful to you.

Now both instances will be installed and easily identifiable by your computer and you will know where to send jobs based on their names.

If you need help with address reservation or installing as an IP device, let us know.

Greetings,

Sorry.  I'm not understanding your question.  Can you please provide more information.

"Trying to scan from Canon to laptop but only can find the laptop on device"

Does this mean you are scanning from the printer's LCD to a folder on your laptop?

"But only can find laptop on the device"

Sorry, I'm not following 🤔

You may need to specify a path to the destination you are scanning to. That destination may also require permissions in order to save.

Guessing based on the information provided?

Sorry about the confusion, so I set one printer up at one location, prints fine and using the scan button on the printer I can choose the device (laptop) also on the same wifi network and scan works as designed. I set up the second Printer at a different location and I can print to the printer but when I try to scan, it does not list the same laptop I was using from the other location. I assume the driver is already loaded on the laptop from the other printer. Is it because I added them as two seperate printers? I hope this make a little more sense. Thanks
