imageCLASS MF236n fax driver not installing

I have a Canon imageCLASS MF236n , I tried downloading the fax driver but when installing it finishes the process but I cannot find it in my computer launchpad (macOS) . Its not installing , what could the problem be?

Hello Rennovallc,

If you have installed the fax driver, you can add the MF236n to your printer list as a fax machine. You can select the 236n fax instead of the printer when trying to print something and instead of printing it out, it will try to send the document as a fax. You can add the fax connection by clicking the + at the bottom of the printer list in printers and scanners.
