Hi, I have the same problem (Starlink as ISP). Actually with a different ISP I can send email as a charm from scanned pages, not with Starlink. After contacting them, seems pretty likely that it's about ports (Starlink support said they block ports 25 and 445). I'm using a Canon ImageCLASS D1520 and I cannot find this configuration/settings section.

Hello,
You can access the email settings for the D1520 from the operation panel using the steps in the link HERE. The port setting will vary based on the specific email provider you are using. For further assistance with checking the email settings or for someone to walk you through adjusting the settings, you can contact support over the phone at 1-800-652-2666.

Greetings,
You'll be hard pressed to find an email provider that uses port 25 or 445 for SMTP.
MS uses 465, 587 or 993
Gmail, Yahoo, Comcast, Spectrum, etc all use 465 or 587
So Starlink blocking the ports above will not affect your ability to send mail.😉
