it looks for a driver and will not accept download driver from canon support site
any suggestions

did you ever get it figured out? im in the same boat just bought the same printer and cant seem to get it work. thought about going to get the printer cord - usb-c and see if that works?

The printer is supported under the following MAC OS's. The Ventura drivers might work under Sonoma.

Did anyone ever figure this out or a workaround? The supposed Sonoma driver does not get recognized so there is no way to use the driver. You can go through the installation motions but you get nowhere.
