Unable to set up PIXMA TS3522 on my iPhone

Hi.  I am unable to setup my TS3522 off my iPhone.  The instructions say that the Canon PRINT app will flash a Do you want to search? question which never appears.  I’ve followed the instructions up to this point (everything as expected) but I have not been able to get much further. 

Printer:  TS3522

IOS:  17.5.1, Privacy & Security->Local Settings->PRINT (enabled)

Canon PRINT:  3.2.0

This could be a setting on my phone, but what?
