URGENT: PIXMA MX492 won't scan after update to macOS Sequoia

Hi,

I have updated my mac OS to sequoina and my scanner stopped working. I have tried to install the updated software from Canon but that didn't help. Below is the error 

Cannot communicate with scanner for these reasons:

- Scanner is turned off.

- (If using Wired LAN connection) It is disconnected from Wired LAN.

- (If using wireless LAN connection) Signal strength is poor due to obstructions.

- Network connection is prohibited by security software.

- Different scanner on the network is selected.

Please check and try again.

Please help me asap. Appreciate it!

Hi sreddy,

You may try scanning using Image Capture, which is an application available on your Mac already, but please note, the PIXMA MX492 is not supported with macOS v15 (Sequoia).  You are eligible for Canon's Upgrade Program. This is for out of warranty units which are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This option allows you a one-time opportunity to purchase a replacement product, discounted from the list price.

If you would like to take part in this option, please call our Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Monday through Saturday, 9am to 9pm. Let them know you have been working with technical support and the Canon Upgrade Program was offered.
