Trouble adding new network and password to PIXMA TS4320

lunastone

I just got a new PIXMA TS4320 last month - then I moved. Now I need to change the network name and password. I've tried everything I know to do, the app just connects me to a temporary network(?) and then says to do it on the printer, but the printer has no screen. The app doesn't give a list of networks like I would expect it to. Can anyone give any advice or instruction? It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Greetings ,

The ts4320 requires a 2.4 GHz broadcast that uses WPA2 encryption.  Please confirm your network meets these requirements (first).

Once confirmed, you can use this knowledge base article and choose your connection method and configure your printer to connect to the new wireless network.

The knowledge base article refers to initial setup, not if you've already set up and want to change networks 😞

Quickest way is to change it from the printer panel:

Changing Network and Password on PIXMA TS4320

To change the network and password on your PIXMA TS4320 printer from the printer panel, follow these steps:

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Access Wireless LAN Settings
    • Navigate to the Wireless LAN settings in the printer menu.
  2. Select Your Network

    • Choose the network you want to connect to from the list of available networks.
  3. Enter New Password

    • When prompted, enter the new password for your selected network.
  4. Follow On-Screen Instructions

    • Complete the setup by following any additional on-screen instructions provided by the printer.

Important Tips

  • Ensure that the new password is entered correctly, as it is case-sensitive.
  • If you encounter issues, double-check that your printer is within range of the Wi-Fi network.
  • Restart the printer if it does not connect after changing the settings.

There is no panel on this printer, just buttons, no LCD screen

Oops, wrong TS model.  Hopefully this is right way, uses the same method as both my non display Canon printers:

To change the network settings and password on the PIXMA TS4320, use the Wi-Fi Connection Assistant to select your printer, then choose Change Password in the Printer Settings menu and enter the current and new passwords. After updating, the administrator password will be successfully changed; Here is the link to the WIFI connection assistant download:
