I reinstalled the Canon software but same thing. I get an error message that basically says I might be to far from router or there could be some type of interference, things like that. Unplugging router, printer, and all the usual things that one would try but no change. I can print wirelessly via WiFi and I can scan from the control panel. It is almost like they shut down that feature or something in the software?

So we can best assist you, please let us know what version of Windows or MacOS you are running. Also, were you scanning from IJ Scan Utility before or another Canon program?

Windows 10 pro and yes I am using the IJ scan utility.
