SELPHY CP1500 Printer not connecting to the app

Tropicaxe

I have a Samsung Galaxy S23 and a CP 1500 printer. I have been trying to print from the app after registering the printer and following the steps displayed on the printer's screen.

I have attempted several solutions: I’ve restarted both devices, ensured they are on the same Wi-Fi network, and tried a direct connection, but I always receive the same message: "Printer's connection is lost." The app indicates that there is a firmware update available, but I still cannot connect to the printer. This situation is very frustrating.

Hi Tropicaxe,

Please contact one of Canon's Technical Support Representatives via phone or chat. To contact a Technical Support Representative, please use the link below to log into your My Canon account:

https://mycanon.usa.canon.com

Once logged in, click on your SELPHY CP1500 and then click on the Product Support button. When that page loads, click on either the Phone Support button or the Chat Support button to access support. A Technical Support Representative can determine the cause of the Wi-Fi issue and provide you with the information to resolve it.
