SELPHY CP1300 Pics look cloudy after app update

mamaof2girlz

This is the first time since the update that I used my printer. I feel like the quality of the pictures looked cloudy and not vibrant like they use to look. I’ve had this printer for 3 years and it’s never given me a problem. The pictures have always looked like they were professionally printed photos. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what did you do to fix it? I have a iPhone 14, if that helps. Thank you

The update I’m referring to is for the app layout. Thanks again!

Hi mamaof2girlz,

Have you tried using a brand new ink cartridge since you've notcied this issue?

If you have, your SELPHY CP1300 may require service.  To obtain service, lease log into your My Canon Account:

https://mycanon.usa.canon.com

Once logged in, click on Service & Support on the left side of your My Canon account.

On the next page, click on the red Get Service & Support button to the right of your SELPHY CP1300.

Then on the page that appears, scroll down and click on the Start Repair button.
