My new router uses WPA2, rather than WPS. Is there anyway to connect my Pixma (MS490) to this router?

Greetings ,
WPS (Wi-Fi protected setup ) s not a security encryption. It's a somewhat insecure convenience feature offered on some hardware. (Routers and printers are examples)
WPA WPA2 WPA3 are encryption types.
Start by putting the printer into wireless connection setup mode

When it gets to the WPS section, press the stop button.
Then perform cableless or manual set up.

Thanks again shadowsports. I was able to follow everything above, but when I got to the last step that says "Follow the instructions on the PC or smartphone, etc." I don't know what to do. This is for my PC.
