Recently upgraded to Win8.1. With Win7 and 8.0 I had no problems printing wireless to MX860. After 8.1 upgrade, I can not print wirelessly. Called Canon tech support and we went through the 8.1 driver install and other trouble shooting options but after a couple of hours, I still can not print wirelessly.
The printer does show up in my network devices/printers, even has the default green check on the Canon MX860, however, when I try printing I get the error " printer off line or not on."
Tech mentioned the ports may be blocked, TCP 80, TCP/UDP 8611, TCP/UDP 8612, TCP/UDP 8613, and/or UDP 3702.
How do I check if these ports are blocked or how to unblock them?

Hi RVH,
You will need to check with the software manufacturer for information on unblocking ports or adding exceptions for specific programs. For more information on the ports to unblock related to the printer, please click on the link below:

Hope this helps!
