imageCLASS MF455DW doesn't show up in MF Scan Utility

Hi

I have downloaded the software for my printer and have installed the printer. I can print; however, I can't scan. I have the Canon MF Scan Utility, however the copier that shows up on the scanner is not the one I have. I checked the drop-down list, but my printer doesn't come up. Please help. I have tried all of the suggestion in the manual. I have also tried to delete this Printer and I been successful, however this might be hidden somewhere deep because it keeps popping up even after i uninstall the program. Please help.

Greetings,

You appear to have the correct software installed, but to use it, You have to have the MF scanning utility version. 1.21.0.2.

However, you're not going to be able to do anything with the MF455dw until the D1500 system is changed or removed.

Is the D1500 an old device, a printer that you owned previously or had installed on the system?

Is it still connected?

Greetings,

Start by performing the following:

Open the start menu > Control Panel > Programs and feature.  Uninstall all Canon software (everything).

Restart your computer

Now reopen the path above, this time selecting > Device and Printers.  Remove the D1500 using right-click (use my example below as a reference)

Restart the computer again.

Visit the MF455Dw support portal:

Download these two files:
