Hello, i have a i-SENSYS LBP3010B printer and i use macbook air m1,
i connect it via a USB hub, and everything worked fine, after the recent update to Sonoma 14.5, the printer stopped printing, the MacBook still sees it, but nothing happens when printing and the print queue says “sending data to the printer” and when in the printer settings I click Open Printer Utility, it says “There are no registered printers. Add a printer and then restart the Statusmonitor”
I have already tried several times to restart both the MacBook and the printer, reinstalled the drivers, deleted and added the printer again, reset the printing system, but nothing helps
Moreover, I have a second MacBook like this, I tried it on it, everything worked, but after I updated it to Sonoma 14.5, this one also stopped working.
And on the website, on the drivers it is written:
CAPT Printer Driver & Utilities for Mac V10.0.7 [macOS 10.13.6 - macOS 14.4.1]
File version: V10.0.7
Release date: 05 April 2024
Apparently the drivers do not support Sonoma 14.5.
What can I do about it? Can anyone help?
And if the problem is with the drivers, then when will there be a new driver update?
