I’m trying to connect a Canon PIXMA TR8620a to my Dell Windows 11 PC, even though it was connected prior to a reset I did to try correct another problem. Installation proceeds normally until I get this error message: “Failed to acquire information on the driver and software. Check the network connection." I tried downloading the driver setup from the Canon website and got message that download is completed and to look for a gray box, which will contain the download, at the bottom of the browser. I see no gray box. Tried the quick wifi setup method and printer screen says to follow the instructions on the computer. I don't find any instructions. So I'm at a complete loss and will be grateful for any help.

This is the direct link to the drivers package, right click it choose save as and then choose your desktop, makes it much easier to find it.

Thanks, but the link goes to the same page I used to download the program.

Greetings,
No, that link downloads the driver. I just tested it. >>>> win-tr8600-1_3-n_mcd.exe
