Problem inserting image into Easy-PhotoPrint

kafka

When I insert an image onto a blank disc template only part of the image appears (as if it has been cut in half). The image usually comes from Google Images. Am I missing a step?

Hi kafka,

In Step 1 of the DVD printing option in Easy-PhotoPrint, select the SIMPLE theme, then click on the LAYOUT button at the bottom of the screen and select Layout 007.  This should allow you to have the image you select in Step 2 display as one large image on the disc label.   If you need to remove any text that is appearing on the disc label, you can click on the text box in Step 3, then press the DELETE button on your keyboard to remove the text.

Should you continue to experience difficulty, we ask that you please contact a Canon technical support representative at one of the methods provided here for further assistance. A representative will be happy to assist you free of charge.

Hi!

Welcome to the Canon Forums and thanks for your post!

To have a better understanding of your issue, please let everyone know what printer model you have, the operating system (Windows Vista/7/8 or Mac OS 10.X) you are using and if you are connected via USB or WI-FI. That way, the community will be able to assist you with suggestions appropriate for your product.

If this is a time-sensitive matter, our US-based technical support team is standing by, ready to help 24/7 via Email at http://Canon.us/ContactCF or by phone at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666) weekdays between 10 AM and 10 PM ET (7 AM to 7 PM PT).

Thanks!

I have a Canon PIXMA IP7260 and am using Windows 8. My computer is connected to the printer via USB.

Hi, Kafka! (I think that I understand the irony in your choice of username!) I just spent several frustrating hours trying (in vain) to find a "work-around" for the problem that you were experiencing, back in 2017... and, with the CURRENT version of  "Easy Print Photo Editor," I was unable to use the solution offered by Ramona. If there were DIFFERENT software available to enable CD/DVD "label" printing with my "TS 702" printer I would be trying THAT approach instead of "fighting a losing battle." Fortunately though, I now need to print on CD/DVD disks only very rarely, so I was prepared to spend a bit of time looking for "heroic" (albeit time-consuming) measures. What I eventually wound up doing was to use an older version of CorelDraw to prepare an (exported) JPG image file with a substantial white "border" around the image that I ACTUALLY wanted on the disk. (If there's an option for doing so, I shall try to attach the file herewith.) THIS approach actually worked and, because the original image was of reasonably-high resolution, the finished product turned out quite well. I just have to apologize that this information is probably about seven years too late to be of any use to you... lol! Best wishes!
