Is there a way to set up wireless printing to my 5G wifi that the printer will actually recognize? Had I known this was an issue I would not have purchased this printer 😞

Have you tried any of the indicated apps?

Thank you for your response and suggestions, however, I have those apps and can print from my phone but that’s not going to solve the fact that the printer won’t connect via WiFi with 5G internet. It’s not compatible with 5G at this time.

Hi, Boiseboz! When you say "5G," are you referring to a 5G mobile network from a cellular phone service or are you referring to a 5 GHz router?
We look forward to your reply!

Greetings,
Happy holidays!
He's referring to his router. The printer does not have a 5G radio. It doesn't support connecting to a 5G broadcast. There is no workaround.
WIRELESS INFORMATION:
Standard: IEEE 802.11 b/g/n
Security: WPA-PSK (TKIP / AES), WPA2-PSK (TKIP / AES)
Wireless LAN Frequency Band(s): 2.4 GHz
Only a handful of Canon printer's currently support 5G. While 5G has greater bandwidth and a shorter broadcast range than 2.4Ghz, the performance between the 2 is minimal from a printing standpoint.
