About to return new Pixma G6020; I don't want to be told it is past return date. Unable to print wirelessly over LAN. Live in large apartment complex; Spectrum provides wifi as part of rent. Able to connect computer, phones, TVs, etc. easily but not Pixma G6020. Canon software appears to recognize network and existence of printer but fails to connect on last step. Was hopeful when I saw this screen, but it failed to connect. I can print sporadically with wife direct from a single computer, unable to set it up for two computers and two phones.

Since it is new go to canon support site, register your product and request support.

Alas, your product registration process is as bad as printer LAN connectivity process. I am unable to register my printer because Canon won't accept password. Obviously, when I can get in to the Canon community as I am posting this but there is no obvious way to get to product registration from the community. When I ask for a new password, I get "Error in processing".

And when I try to register the product without logging in, the process fails, producing the error "ERROR for site owner: Invalid domain for site key" with reCAPCHA symbol halfway off the screen.

And, of course, telephone support only works when you have registered the product. Very clever.

Community and support are different. When you are on support site create a new account.
