I just switched from Xfinity to GFiber internet. My Canon TS9520 used to connect to Xfinity just fine. But it will not connect to GFiber. My other devices connect to GFiber without issues. My TS9520 sees the new GFiber network, i click on it, it thinks for a minute and then gives me an error message saying it is unable to connect. Please help!

PS i gave my GFiber 2.4GHz network a separate name from my 5GHz network, and i am trying to connect only to the 2.4GHz network, but it still wont connect.

Hi Allison2,
The GFiber router has WPA3 security enabled by default. The TS9520 is not compatible with WPA3.
Please contact GFiber support and have them disable WPA3 and enable WPA2. Once WPA2 is enabled, you will be able to connect.
Once your TS9520 is connected, WPA3 can be enabled again.

Try these steps to resolve the connection issue with your Canon TS9520 and GFiber:
- Restart Router and Printer: Power cycle both your router and printer, thedentaku.
- Check Network Settings: Ensure the TS9520 is connecting to the correct 2.4 GHz network (some printers may not support 5 GHz).
- Re-enter Wi-Fi Password: Forget the network on the printer and reconnect by entering the correct Wi-Fi password.
- Firmware Update: Check if there’s a firmware update available for your TS9520 on Canon's website.
- Wi-Fi Mode: Set your router’s Wi-Fi mode to mixed mode (802.11 b/g/n) for better compatibility.
