I am unable to connect via USB or Wi-Fi. Tried connection via IP and Auto-Connect.
I have rebooted the laptop as well as the printer to no avail.
I am at my wits end and my frustration level has reached an end.
I need help please as I am unable to print anything at this time.
Thanks

I suggest you start from the beginning. Use the USB printer cable and if you want you can convert to a WIFI connection in the future. Disconnect the USB printer cable from the printer, use the link I posted, choose software and drivers and download the full printer and scanner driver setup package at the bottom of the page, run it and connect the printer cable when prompted to do so. Once done your pc should see the printer and you can install other software on the support page, The IJ Printer assistant tool will have printer maintenance functions.

I'm having the exact same issue, I have tried everything from unplugging printer, removing and re-adding app to pressing the wi-fi button and waiting for 2, and then 3 flashes, nothing. This is NOT a straightforward wireless set up experience, Canon needs to do a better job making this a user friendly experienced as I have read about this exact same issue happening to many people. Let's keep in mind, Canon doesn't include a USB-A with this printer so mentioning to use the cable, you need to go buy one or hope you have one from another printer. The real solution is improving the Canon PRINT app so it doesn't cycle thru "Processing......" over and over and over to just tell us "Failure to connect to your printer". Very frustrating experience, I don't think Canon wants us to keep this experience in mind when buying future tech.

A printer cable can be bought from Walmart for less than five bucks. They are a great help setting up a wireless connection, especially if your printer does not have a display. You enter all the wireless SID and password info from your keyboard, makes it a lot less frustrating. It would be nice if Canon supplied a cable like monitor makers do.
