PIXMA TS3720 Wi-Fi set-up problem

Hello...

I am just starting to set-up my Canon TS3720 printer.  In direction 2, of step 1, it says to make sure 2 horizontal lines appear along with the wifi symbol.  This is not happening for me.  There is a 0 next to the flashing wifi symbol.  What do I do now?
