PIXMA TS3522 and TS202 Printer Connection Problem

jimhs

I have two Cannon printers.  A TS3522 and a TS202.  I have had both of them for over a year and have never been able to find a link to talk to Cannon directly.  This is the best I have been able to find.  My problem is that when I try to print with either printer, they both give me the same message telling me that the printer is not connected.  i used to be able to make the TS202 work and start printing by unplugging it from the power and also the internet conection, and then it would print.  The TS3522 started printing with no problems, but now it is doing the same thing.  I'm about ready to pitch both of these printers in the garbage can and buy another brand.  The TS202 has been doing this to me for two years now.  I'm really fed up and there is no way that I can find to actually send an email to Cannon and ask them directly about his problem.  Anyway, anybody out there have any suggestions?  If so, you will be saving the lives to two printers.  Thanks very much for any help you might be able to offer.

Respectfully

Jimhs

Hi jimhs,

When you turn your PIXMA TS3522 on, does "0" appear in the upper right corner of your printer's display?

Does the Wi-Fi icon appear in the upper left corner of your printer's display?

If so, please load plain paper into your printer.

Does LTR appear at the bottom of your printer's display?  If not, please repeatedly press the Paper button on your printer until LTR appears and then press OK.  The Paper button is to the left of the OK button.

Once set, please press the information_button.jpg button one time.

3 pages will print.

On the first page, look at the number to the right of 3-2-1 Signal Strength.  Is that number above 50?

Please look at the name to the right of 3-2-6 SSID.  Is the name listed there the name of your Wi-Fi?

I have installed a new 245XL cartridge into my PIXMA TS202 and it won't print.  The yellow light is blinking and here I'm stuck. Went to the Canon website with my problem who promptly referred me to some other site where I'd pay $5 with concurrent charges. I said no thanks. Then I unplugged the AC cord and plugged it back again. Bingo, it prints!.
Not sure what the five bucks would do. Smh.

Too late, but thanks anyway.  Those two Cannon printers went into the garbage can and i bought a HP printer that has worked perfectly since I plugged it in.  Will never own another Cannon product!!!!!!!!!

Good luck but watch out for the HP cartridges subscription program.  You'll pay more than you think. Then come back to Canon.
