PIXMA TS3522 Scanner Drivers

Which alternative scanner drivers would work with TS3522 printer - scanner

Reason:
The installed Canon drivers severely limit my options and only allow scanning in one mode only.
The Canon  installer for this, the TS3500 series_160F3A000000
installs drivers \ksthunk.sys,  \WSDScan.sys,  \WSDScDrv.dll
in System32\drivers folder

Thanks for your reply, but please follow up with a real answer to my problem.   Most likely others would like to know that answer too.

My O S (operating system) is Windows 10 sub 1803 ver. Enterprise

I am having the same issue and my daughter needs this printer for onlince school next week. Wondering if I need to purchase a new printer or if there is a fix.
