PIXMA TR8620a: Quick Menu not working

DMackL

I upgraded my Mac Mini to MacOS Sonoma and installed Quick Menu 2.8.2, but when I run it there are no print options, just Scan & Web Services. It works just fine on my old iMac/Ventura.

Sorry, my printer is a Pixma TR8620a connecting wirelessly.

Welcome.
Was your old iMac connected by cable or WiFi?

On my Windows 10 PC Quick Menu does not see my WiFi TR8620a, just my USB connected Pro-100.

My old iMac is connected wirelessly. On my new MacMini, I deleted the printer and Quick Menu, reinstalled the printer, set it up as a USB printer, reinstalled Quick Menu and got the same results as before, no print or device date. I then repeated this procedure and set up the printer connection as wired LAN & got the same results as before. Of note is that every time I started Quick Menu for the first time I got the message "The following models are selected as your models for Quick Menu. Printer:AirPrint printer, Scanner:AirPrint scanner, Click the Preferences dialog display button on the bottom right of the Main Menu screen to change the models." The Preferences Model Selection dialog only shows AirPrint printer & AirPrint scanner. No TR8620a selection.

I don’t use the app, but I just installed it on my M2 MacBook Sequoia. My TR8620a shows up as AirPrint printer and scanner. My Pro-100 doesn’t show up.
