PIXMA TR8620 Printer not connecting to Wi-Fi or devices

Ive been trying to setup an old TR8620 printer that my wife bought a while ago but I cant seem to get it to connect to wifi or any devices.  When I try and connect it to our wifi it gives me an error failing to connect to wirless router. We have the home internet through tmobile which is both 2.4G and 5G. What can I do to get this printer to connect?

Hi, 

You can check with TMobile to see if your router is running WPA3 security. If it is, have them change it to WPA2 and then try to connect the printer again. If the printer connects, you can change the router setting back to WPA3.
