Can't create MSetup4.exe output file to set up Pixma MG3620 printer

SilentBobNJ

When I try to execute win-mg3600-1_0-jucd.exe, I get the following response:

Can't create output file

C:\Users\RobBe\AppData\Local\Temp\win-mg3600-1_0-jucd\MSetup4.exe

I have an older Windows laptop running Windows 10.

I'd appreciate any troubleshooting suggestions.

Hi SilentBobNJ,

Please follow these steps:

1. Please use the following link:

https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/printers/inkjet-multifunction/mg-s...

2. Click the Select button next to "MG3600 series MP Drivers Ver. 1.01 (Windows)".

3. Click the Download button. The drivers will download.

4. Once the download is complete, open your downloads folder. To access this, press CTRL and J, then let both go.

5. Right click "m68n-win-mg3600-1_01-ea34_2.exe" and left click on COPY.

6.  Go to your Desktop,  .On your Desktop, right click and then left click on PASTE.  That will copy the installation file to your Desktop.

7.  Double click "m68n-win-mg3600-1_01-ea34_2.exe" to begin the installation.

I followed the above directions and I still get the "can't create output file" Any suggestions?

Hey there!

Is this your personal computer, or is it a work/school/business/managed by someone else computer?

If it's your personal computer, try this: https://canon.us/MG3620setup

If the computer is a work (or not your computer), you'll need to have whoever manages the computer do the installation.
