PIXMA TR8500 Series: No option to change router password

Canon tr8500 trying to connect to new wireless router with same name as the old router…will mot give me the option to change router password…I can connect to my router extension but I want to connect to main router

So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which Canon printer model you're using within the PIXMA TR8500 series.  The model number should appear on the front of the printer at the lower right corner of its control panel.
