I have a Pixma MG5420 printer. I have a new Mac mini running on Mac OS 15.3 Sequoia. Canon's website has an update for Mac OS 15. I downloaded it fine. But upon opening the "Printer Update" I get an error saying "The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of Mac OS."
How do I install the printer driver on my Mac for this MG5420?

I don't see any drivers for this printer for versions of macOS newer than Mojave (10.14). What software did you install?

When you go to usa.canon.com and go to Support, put in Pixma MG5420 up pops a picture of the printer and a button for Software and Drivers. Click that and you select the Mac OS version. It clearly says "MacOS Sequoia v15". There are 4 downloads available. I downloaded them all. But as I noted in my posting, the Printer Update does not work.
Is there another way to install the printer driver for Mac for this MG5420?
