I wander why Canon expose users to such, security risk.In order for my printer to connect to my wifi,i had to change
from my more secure WPA3 protocol.,to WPA2.Is about time Canon corrects that flaw.

Greetings ,
While I respect your opinion, I can assure you WPA2 encryption is in general very secure.
The MG3620 was released 10 years ago, long before WPA3 encryption existed. It was announced in 2018 but did not receive certification until 2020, 5 years ago. Security standards are constantly evolving and the hardware available 10 years ago may not have been capable of supporting the new standard.
Again, however, there is nothing wrong with WPA2 encryption. You might consider buying a newer printer to pair with your more modern router that uses WPA3 encryption if it's that important to you. 😉

I don't know in what world do you live on,saying that WPA2 is secure. My printer is brand new, unless Canon
gives me a WPA3 enabled inkjet printer,i will stick with it.
