Trying to scan with my MG3620 and I must be missing something. I have downloaded drivers and all recommended updates. When I look in control panel, I see the printer but not a scanner. When I go into Image garden, the scan option is greyed out.
I am connected via Wi-Fi on the same network and the printing is fine.
It doesn't seem like it should be this hard, but there it is. Thanks for help in advance.

Hi sfranc01! Thanks for contributing to the Canon Community! I see that you are unable to find the scan options on your computer.
I will provide some information in the following paragraphs. However, it will help if you can please provide your computer's operating system and version. For example, is it running Windows 10, Windows 11, or macOS Tahoe v26?
If you do end up needing to install another driver or software, it can be downloaded from the following website:

For Mac computers, you need the ICA Driver Ver.5.0.1 and the IJ Scan Utility2 Ver.2.4.3 (especially if you want to scan using the My Image Garden program. You can scan with the IJ Scan Utility Lite Ver.4.2.0, but it won't allow you to scan from My Image Garden.
For Windows computers, I recommend downloading and installing the Print Driver and Scan Utility Installer Ver. 1.03. Once installed, you should be able to open and use the IJ Scan Utility to scan your images. Installing this particular package should also enable you to scan from My Image Garden (if the MG3620 scanner is selected).
