PIXMA MG3222 Drivers Needed

iOS windows 11. Printer Pixma mg 3222. I went on canon site downloaded no driver. My JP computer at first detects printer then says it doesn’t. I get an error about the driver I just downloaded. HELP

Thanks for letting us know what Canon product you've got. The PIXMA MG3222 is an older model which we have retired. While that means that Canon USA no longer offers direct support for it, your friends here in the Canon Community are welcome to offer suggestions!

We see this behavior occasionally.  If often happen when you connect the printer to your computer before running the installation software.

Visit Device Manager and expand the USB section, if you see your Canon printer or unknown USB device there, right-click and delete it.  

Next Open Device and Printers and if the printer exists there, right-click and remove it.  Then uninstall any canon software from a failed install attempt. 

Now unplug the printer from the USB port where it was connected.  Restart your computer. 

Run the installer above and connect the printer to a USB port when prompted to do so.
