PIXMA G620 Duplex Printing on Mac

Hey all,

I just bought the G620 and run exclusively Mac. I do not see duplex printing as an option.

In the manual it is available for windows but does not mention it in the Mac section.

I tried using letter size and plain paper settings as it states for windows.

I did install the driver from the website.

I also saw a post here from 10 months ago where someone from Canon said it was not available on Mac. Is that still the case? Is it in the works? I need to know if I need to return this thing. Duplex printing is a necessity for me.

Thanks in advance.

Greetings ,

The G620 supports manual duplex printing.  This means you would have to flip the page over and reload it into the printer in order to print on the other side.

Automatic duplex printing is not a "feature" that can be added to a device.  It requires hardware which has to be present when the device is manufactured.  If you need automatic duplex printing, you should choose another model.

You can do this by reviewing the tech specs on a product's support page or contact the Canon sales team.  1-800-385-2155.
