Mac Mini 10.13.6 Print Driver for MX922 Download not working

I have downloaded the current recommended print driver for my printer mx922. Each time I have received the installation successful message, however, when I check my applications folder there is nothing there. ??

Hi,

Please go into your system preferences and select printers and scanners. If the printer is not listed, click the + button and select add new printer or scanner. The printer should then be listed as a printer you can select.
