Hi,
I am attempting to connect an MP495 to a 5k iMac running macOS High Sierra version 10.13.5 Beta . Unforatuntely the Wifi printing is not working (although standard USB printing works fine).
I've done all the usual steps of first connecting via USB to ensure the printer is recognized. This of course works until I disconnect the cable and attempt to print via WIFI and the printer immediately displays as being offline. I have tried everything from removing and deleting, then reinstalling the printer in the Mac system preferences window, but that hasn't fixed the Wifi printing issue.
Since I'm on a newer iMac, I don't have a CD drive to attempt to install proprietary driver software from Canon and when I went to the web site to download it, it said it wasn't availble (possiby because I'm running a Beta OS ??).
I'm curious if anyone has had similar problems with Wifi printing on MacOS (Beta).
Thanks
