MP Navigator Easy Scanning with One-click (Windows) for MP240

Hi ... I have a printer/scanner Canon MP240 which I used with my old Lenovo. Switched the old Lenovo by a new one E580 with Win11. Could not find out the printer install disks, so tried downloading from the Canon site. The best I could was to update the drivers to accept the MP240, so I can access the printer/scanner thru the Settings printer icon, but I am limited to upload from the scanner as jpg format, no pdf format (no such pdf format). I need to have the MP Navigator for Canon installed in the computer, which will carry all the options that I was used to. But ... I just could not find out a place to let me download it.

The Canon site says that the MP240 is too old and no more support, and any try is just 'best efforts', no guarantee of working. The fact is that accessing the printer/scanner from inside (Settings) goes well, the machine works, but the lack of pdf format is kind of a problem, it only has the jpg format, and this creates a lot of extra work to get a final pdf file - it's OK if you scan one document, but if I have a bunch of documents it's very complicated going one by one and joining everything to get a final pdf file. Much better if I can get it straight like the old way.

Any help on this one?

Canon has not made drivers for this printer since Windows 8.1 you can go to the support page and choose that operating system download the windows 8.1 64 bit driver and Navigator program and see if it installs. If not I think you will need a new printer.  Here is the link to the 8.1 64 bit driver, if it doesn't install no point in downloading the Navigator program. :

Here is the support page for your printer.

hi Derrick, many thanks for your prompt answer. Yes, I've succeeded in installing previously the new driver, and this is the reason that I can use the printer thru the Settings window (MS Settings, Bluetooth & Devices, Printers & Scanners, more Devices & printer settings, select and right click at the Scanner figure, etc..). So I can scan, but the issue is that this internal way only provides to record the scan in jpg extension, no pdf extension. And I print as well.

I didn't find anywhere the MP Navigator software link to download and install, in order to have my printer being accessed by the Navigator instead. What I am asking is if anybody has a shortcut to get this piece of software for downloading ... I really appreciate to get the Navigator to install, and thank you all for the help.
