I have a PIXMA Canon MG3600 printer. I have a mac computer, using Sequoia 15.3.1. I've used the printer with this mac plenty of times and today it stopped working, both the printer and scanner. I fixed the printer by redownloading the software, but it still won't scan anything. Whenever I click the scan button (like I did before) it says no scanner or camera is selected. I have also tried using the Canon IJ Scan Utility Lite, and it just searches for scanners for awhile and eventually pops up with an error message. Same with Canon IJ Scan Utility2. How do I get it to work?

Did it stop when you upgraded to 15.3.1? What is the latest macOS it worked with?

I posted about my scanner not working with Sequoia 15.3.1--the model is Pixma MG3620 and it is using WiFi to connect from my computer to the printer/scanner. Printing is fine and dandy, but scanning won't work.... Don't tell me I have to us a USB cable--that would mean using the one port in my dock/hub attachment!! Please, not that!....

This problem persists under Sequoia OS 15.6.1. I have reinstalled the current printer and scanner drivers for my Canon MG3620. I can print but not scan. When attempting to scan, I receive this message:

If you performed all the suggestions and still no luck I suggest you call Canon support at 1-800-OK-CANON.

If there are suggestions under this thread, I have not seen them. I have moved my question to a new thread, thinking this thread would be overlooked due to its original date. I have followed all of the installation instructions, which is why I posted to this forum.
