MG2500S driver needed for macOS Sequoia

I'm trying to install my scanner/printer MG2500 on Mac Sequoia 15.5 but can't find driver for this software. I tried installing the latest version that I found here but got a message: 

A scanner driver supporting this software is not installed. Install it and try again.

Code:15,230,0

Printer model: Canon MG2550S

error message: "A scanner driver supporting this software is not installed. Install it and try again. Code:15,230,0"

macOS: Sequoia15.6.1 (24G90)

connect to your printer: via USB

I have downloaded and installed: 

MG2500S series CUPS-printerdriver v.16.90.0.0 (Mac) 

unfortunately, when I click to open I get Error message: "A scanner driver supporting this software is not installed. Install it and try again. Code:15,230,0"

Somehow I managed to print, but can't scan 😞
