MF644Cdw Need to scan and send to iPad Air

I need to figure out how to send what I have scanned to my iPad Air. I downloaded the Canon Print Business app. When I used it and selected the scan option it said, “Check the Remote Ul settings or update the printer firmware. Select [Help] from the menu on the home screen and refer to [App Support Site] for more information about updating the firmware.” So I selected help in the app like it said. It took me to the Canon site. On that page I chose the “To app support site” link. At the next page I had to select that I lived in North America. That sent me to another page, where the options were U.S.A., Canadian (English), Canadian (French). I am American, but that link is broken. So I tried to use Canadian English. That link took me to a useless page. Please. I just want to scan my document and the printer/scanner send it to my iPad. Help.

Hello,

the message you are referring to will usually mean that the app does not have a scanner selected or the firmware needs to be updated. At the top of the app, you can tap the option to add a printer to see if it can search and select the MF644Cdw. You can also try updating the firmware to see if the message clears. If you continue to run into issues, I suggest contacting support over the phone, and they would be happy to check the settings and connections to see what is going on.
