MF424DW printers can’t connect to WIFI unless 1 specific printer is online

Hello Community, first time post.

I work for a small ish family business and usually handle any IT issues. We have 6 MF424DW printers connect to separate computers on the same network.
TLDR: incorrectly installed a printer on a pc and now all printers only connect if the “host” printer is online. Get a PSK error if I try to manually reconnect to network even this the password is correct and they work fine if the host is connected.

Recently I tried to share one printer with another computer w/o properly installing the canon drivers on the PC. I also didn’t make the printer shareable on the host computer(it’s currently in an unoccupied office and not connected to any computer). After I did this, it seems like the printer I was trying to connect to became the defacto network host for all the canon printers in the office, specifically those connected to our router. (We run a fiber connection at our office and share it with 3 other buildings near us, those buildings are unaffected). If the “host” computer is turned off, all the other printers no longer connect to PCs or even via WiFi print. Attempts to reestablish connection come back with PSK error even though the password never changed and they work when the host is connected.
-additional points-

1. I used the windows 11 device installer to try to install the printer on the PC. It showed the Printers on a list w IP identifiers and I even selected the wrong printer(irrelevant to this).
2. I had to download the Canon driver set via windows update to find the printers on the network.

Any help would be appreciated, I hope I don’t have to spend the weekend reinstalling 6 printers at work.

I will provide anymore information as needed and if i can. Usually a quick search can fix at issues but this one has been hard to track down.
