ImageProGraf Pro-1100 Which Driver?

There is Master Setup mms2-mac-103_0_1-ea21_3.dmg located on Canon's support page and there is

mms2-mac-103_10_0-ea21_3 located on ij.start.canon/connect. What's the difference between the two?

Here's what I had to do. I installed PRO-1100 CUPS Printer Driver Ver.29.1.0.0 (Mac). After installation was completed, I went to Apple System Settings\Printers and Scanners and added the Pro-1100. I highlighted Canon PRO-1100 series Bonjour. In the Use drop down menu, I chose Select Software. In the Select Software dialog box, I chose Canon PRO-1100 series. Done. The driver version is Canon PRO -1100 series version 29.1.0.0. I bypassed AirPrint altogether.

I'm experiencing difficulty installing the driver. I read somewhere that one shouldn't use Air Printer to install the imageprograf driver. Yet, when I access Printers & Scanners, under kind I see Canon Pro-1100 series AirPrint. I used the master setup from ij.start.canon/connect

I'm using an ethernet connection instead of wi-fi. I seem to be stuck on the Add Printer page of Master Setup. The response is I didn't install the driver. What am I doing wrong?

To get past it, I skipped it.

You should download this driver and then Add Printer in the Printers and Scanners section. Wait, maybe several minutes, for the Canon IJ Series printer to appear. The AirPrint version may appear first; keep waiting.
