Greetings,
I have a MG7520. I have a new MacBook Pro, I have not been able to connect to the printer to scan. Every time I try to use the IJ Scan Utility Lite, it says it cannot communicate with the scanner. I have the unit connected via wired LAN. I have tried to reset up the unit several times; wirelessly, through USB and again through LAN. I am able to print without any issues.
I am able to pull out my older Macbook pro, also running OS 13 and can scan using IJ Scan Utility. I do not believe is it the "lite" version. I can't find a download for that version that appears compatible with OS 13.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. It is getting tedious having to pull out the old MacBook and scan and then airdrop to the newer one.
Thank you!

Older printers that don’t have an updated printer driver seem to work OK with limited features using Apple AirPrint drivers. But there are no AirPrint comparable scanner drivers.
You might want to look into VueScan by Hamrick Software.
