Hi, I set up my printer wireless with my home network which works great. More recently I wanted to set up my office computer USB wired, but the printer switches to error-statues every time I start a print job.
It seems the printer isn't recognized, even though the printer software has been set up first.

You can't print to a printer by both means. It's installed either for USB-connect or WiFi.
Unless maybe you install it AGAIN, as a USB printer. Then you'll have TWO MF656cdw printers, one WiFi and one USB.

Hi, thank you for your reply. When I googled it, someone mentioned that it was possible, so I'm still looking for a solution. I just need to get direction on how to do that.
Best regards

Hi normadel, I misunderstood your answer, and I was incomplete in my question.
I have the wireless printing set up for my home computer already.
Later on I installed the USB wired connection with my office computer. That install resulted in printer error.
I have un/reinstalled the printer driver for my office computer twice so far, with no good results.
Not sure what the problem is, since I had a PIXMA printer earlier that worked fine for both environs.
