Failure to install Canon Professional Print & Layout

Hello,

Attempting to install the product on my Windows 11 PC. I downloaded the file p2l_-win-1_3_7-ea10_3.exe from the Canon website but when I click on the exec it fails with the message:

The path name is too long. Change the path name so that it does not exceed 150 characters.

How to I resolve this issue?

Hello again,

Resolved the issue. I was not installing from a folder under my user id but from a folder under my user id. When I copied the exec file to a fold under my actual use id, the install was successful.

I assume there was too many levels.
