Canon MG2522 and Chrome Book

I never would have purchased this MG2522 if I had known I could not get a driver for my Chrome Book

I understand Chrome books are a real bargain, but choosing chrome OS limits your ability to install and use much of the software and peripherals available for use in other operating systems.  Windows, MAC or Linux.  Google continually deprecates features.  They are also the ones that decided to discontinue Cloud Print, not Canon.  Its unfortunate.
