The MG5500 series has the ability to connect to a new router from the unit itself. Go under Settings => Device Settings => LAN Settings => Wireless LAN Setup and follow the prompts.
P.S. If it prompts you to push a WPS button, hit the stop button or go to other connection methods. WPS Rarely works well.
